Welcome to Ota City! Here are the procedures to complete within 14 days of moving in.

    Moving Into Ota City (Tennyu-todoke)
    ⚠️ Within 14 days of moving! Top priority.
    If you move to Ota City, submit a Moving-in Notification within 14 days of starting to live at your new address.

    🏥 Health & Insurance Open
    National Health Insurance Enrollment
    Enroll within 14 days of leaving previous insurance.
    If you leave your job, you must join City Health Insurance within 14 days. Bring the 'Certificate of Loss of Insurance' from your old company to City Hall!

    🏠 Life Events Open
    My Number Card Application
    Update address on the back of your My Number Card.
    Apply easily via smartphone! When the postcard arrives a month later, bring your Residence Card and go to City Hall in person to pick it up.

    🌿 Environment & Pets Open
    Dog Registration & Rabies Vaccination
    If you have a dog, transfer the registration.
    By law, you must register your dog at City Hall (3,000 JPY) to get a dog tag, and give them a Rabies shot every year. Microchipped dogs are exempt from the registration fee!
